Today, we reported that Vancouver Surge are set to release Kenyen "Capsidal" Sutton and move Isaiah "Gwinn" Gwinn from the flex position back to his former role, which many believe suits him better as an SMG. Vancouver has since announced that Capsidal has been released from the roster.

Sources have indicated that Surge is planning to trial at least two AR players. One of the expected candidates is Carson "Brack" Newberry from OMiT. The former Florida Mutineers player has consistently performed well in Challengers but has struggled to receive offers at the pro level in recent years.

The other player anticipated to get an opportunity is Ben "Beans" McMellon. The Englishman started the year with Cloud9 New York but failed to make an impact after showing promise during previous CDL stints with Toronto Ultra and Boston Breach. Interestingly, both Gwinn and Thomas "TJHaLy" Haly teamed up with Beans for EWC during the MW3 season.
