They have confirmed the signing of four players. On Saturday, we reported on the interest in Okis and Encourage, two players who have played for the Stallions this season. While Encourage is still under contract with OMIT, both players have now signed with Cloud9. We also mentioned interest in Iconz and Nate, two young and upcoming SMG players. However, we have heard from sources close to both players that they ultimately decided to turn down the Cloud9 offer, which highlights the difficult state the team is currently in. Sources tell us that they are set to sign Hide, another player on loan to the Stallions from OMiT, alongside Nerja. These are two relatively unproven players, and it will be interesting to see how this group performs in the CDL, especially considering that none of them have placed higher than 12th at an amateur LAN event.
