At the beginning of the season, only one non-Saudi Arabian rookie was signed to a Call of Duty League team, and he was merely a substitute. However, as the season has progressed, we have seen some outstanding young talent emerge, alongside a few who haven't performed as well.
Coming in 7th: Dillion "Wrecks" Slotter
Wrecks has been a player that many fans believe deserved an opportunity for years. He finally got his chance this season with the Carolina Royal Ravens, signing late in Stage 3 in place of Reece "Vivid" Drost. Last season, he reportedly turned down an offer from the Minnesota Rokkr to serve as a substitute for two weeks.
However, this current opportunity marks his first chance. Unlike many rookies, Wrecks entered a fairly stable situation, as the team had previously secured top 4 and top 8 finishes in their last two events.

Unfortunately for Wrecks, things have not clicked since he replaced Vivid on the Ravens. While the entire team has struggled to regain its previous form, Wrecks has faced significant challenges. In his early matches with the roster, the team faced double elimination and placed 12th at Major 3. Although his individual performance showed some improvement with a few bright spots, the overall team results have been disappointing, as they also finished 12th at Major 4.
However, Wrecks and the Ravens still have an opportunity to prove that bringing him on board was the right decision later this month at COD Champs. Despite his overall statistics not reflecting it, many believe that Wrecks possesses the talent to compete at this level.
