With Major IV officially in the books, the Call of Duty League is now in the final stretch of the season—and the race to Champs is now completed. With just one stage left to secure postseason positioning, every map, mode, and matchup carried massive weight during Major IV.

Some teams were riding high after impressive performances going into the Major, while others are searching for answers after disappointing showings & early eliminations. From red-hot contenders to squads fighting for survival, the CDL hierarchy continues to shift. Here’s how all 12 teams stack up in our Power Rankings following Major IV.

How the teams are ranked: The writers, stats team, and content team at Breaking Point were polled to rate each of the 12 teams — putting more weight on recency instead of the entire season. Since there have only been two weeks of play, the team was assigned to rank the teams going into the Minor. Each ranks the teams 1st through 12th. After collecting the rankings from the BP team, each team would be given points for each vote, as seen below:

1st – 12 points
2nd – 11 points
3rd – 10 points
4th – 9 points
5th – 8 points
6th – 7 points
7th – 6 points
8th – 5 points
9th – 4 points
10th – 3 points
11th – 2 point
12th – 1 points

1st: Los Angeles Thieves

Voting: 12.0 Avg Points, S Tier
37-11 Record (77%), 131-55 Map Count (70%), 540 CDL points (1st Seed)
Roster: Envoy - Ghosty - HyDra - Scrap
Previous Ranking: 1st (Unchanged)

Next Match: June 26th vs Boston Breach

Major IV Results: 1st
LA went 7-3 over Stage IV, sitting at a 29-13 map count over the split. The Thieves turned it on when it mattered, beating Toronto, Texas, Miami, and Atlanta in order to win the Major IV title. That makes them 37-11 in series with 540 points on the year, good enough to become the first non-FaZe team to take the first seed for the regular season.

2nd: Atlanta FaZe

Voting: 11.0 Avg Points, A Tier
34-11 Record (76%), 119-64 Map Count (65%), 505 CDL points (2nd Seed)
Roster: aBeZy - Cellium - Drazah - Simp
Previous Ranking: 2nd (Unchanged)

Next Match: June 26th vs OpTic Texas

Major IV Results: 2nd
While FaZe went 7-2 during Stage IV, the team fell to Thieves in the Finals 2-4 to finish in 2nd place at Dreamhack Dallas. They were a top 3 team in all three modes, including the 2nd-best record in SND (8-3) and Control (7-3). They'll be looking to continue improving their Hardpoint going into Champs.

3rd: Miami Heretics

Voting: 10.0 Avg Points, B Tier
20-20 Record (50%), 82-83 Map Count (50%), 295 CDL points (5th Seed)
Roster: SupeR - MettalZ - ReeaL - RenKoR
Previous Ranking: 3rd (Unchanged)

Next Match: June 26th vs Vancouver Surge

Major IV Results: 3rd
After going a perfect 5-0 in the Stage IV Qualifiers, the Heretics found themselves competing on another Major Sunday. Unfortunately, the squad would fall to FaZe & Thieves in back-to-back matches to finish 3rd for the tournament. That makes it three Top 4 finishes this season, which only Miami, LA, & Atlanta have accomplished this season.

4th: OpTic Texas

Voting: 9.0 Avg Points, B Tier
20-21 Record (49%), 76-80 Map Count (49%), 220 CDL points (7th Seed)
Roster: Dashy - Mercules - Huke - Shotzzy
Previous Ranking: 6th (Up 2 Tiers)

Next Match: June 26th vs Atlanta FaZe

Major IV Results: 4th
OpTic Texas has had a rollercoaster season, to say the least, but has seemed to finally catch form at the end of the season. During Stage IV, Texas had a 15-9 map count in respawns and were 6-3 in Map 1s to start series (2nd Best in the League). They'll look to improve their SND play this month, as they were just 6-5 in SND this past stage, including 0-2 in Game 5s.

5th: Toronto Ultra

Voting: 7.7 Avg Points, B- Tier
30-16 Record (65%), 101-77 Map Count (57%), 370 CDL points (3rd Seed)
Roster: Beans - CleanX - Insight - JoeDeceives
Previous Ranking: 5th (Unchanged)

Next Match: June 26th vs Carolina Royal Ravens

Major IV Results: Top 6
The Ultra have continued to cool off after playing well with a stand-in at Major III. Throughout Stage IV, the Ultra had a 5-4 record with an 18-17 map count. While they played well in respawns, the squad went 3-7 in SND, including 1-6 in the last 7 maps. This continues to be a worrying trend, and what is their biggest red flag for the roster going into Champs.

6th: Vancouver Surge

Voting: 7.3 Avg Points, B- Tier
25-18 Record (58%), 94-84 Map Count (53%), 330 CDL points (4th Seed)
Roster: O4 - abuzah - Nastie - Neptune
Previous Ranking: 4th (Down 2 Tiers)

Next Match: June 26th vs Miami Heretics

Major IV Results: Top 12
The Surge had a decent qualifier run in Stage IV, but fell hard at the Major. The squad lost to LA Thieves 0-3 and 2-3 to Vegas at Dallas to finish Top 12, their second time finishing that low this season. While they are a great Hardpoint team (8-3 during Stage IV), they were the worst in SND (2-7 in Stage IV) out of the entire League. Control wasn't on par as well, going 3-4 this Stage with the 12th-ranked defense.

7th: Minnesota RØKKR

Voting: 6.0 Avg Points, D+ Tier
15-24 Record (39%), 72-93 Map Count (44%), 165 CDL points (9th Seed)
Roster: Estreal - Gio - Nero - Kenny
Previous Ranking: 8th (Up 1 Tier)

Next Match: Failed to Qualify for Champs

Major IV Results: Top 6
The Minnesota Rokkr fought hard for the 8th seed in the season standings but came up short in the end. While they won't be at Champs, the Rokkr have been one of the better teams in the bottom half of the CDL. They were 7-9 in Hardpoint and 6-7 in SND during Stage IV, which kept the series close and allowed them to steal some wins. In the end, inconsistencies and mental errors caused the downfall of the team. They'll look to rebound at the Esports World Cup in July.

8th: Boston Breach

Voting: 4.7 Avg Points, D Tier
16-19 Record (46%), 66-76 Map Count (47%), 200 CDL points (8th Seed)
Roster: Cammy - Owakening - Purj - Snoopy
Previous Ranking: 7th (Down 1 Tier)

Next Match: June 26th vs LA Thieves

Major IV Results: Top 12
Boston is one of the hardest teams to place in the CDL, having placed twice Top 12 at a Major and Top 6 twice. They are competitive in each of the gamemodes but not great in any. With a 2-4 Series Record, that puts them in 8th, which is pretty on par with where they are ranked across the entirety of the year.

9th: Cloud9 New York

Voting: 4.3 Avg Points, D Tier
12-24 Record (33%), 57-80 Map Count (42%), 125 CDL points (10th Seed)
Roster: Capsidal - Kremp - Spart - Sib
Previous Ranking: 9th (Unchanged)

Next Match: Failed to Qualify for Champs

Major IV Results: Top 12
Another team that will miss Champs, New York went out with a whimper instead of a fight during Stage IV. The squad started off the Stage with two new signings and looked good, but in the end, they lost all of the early stream. Cloud9 lost the final two qualifier matches heading into Major, then proceeded to lose back-to-back matches to Atlanta & LAG. The Top 12 result would eliminate them from Champs and sideline the team until July for the Esports World Cup.

10th: Vegas Falcons

Voting: 3.0 Avg Points, D- Tier
3-28 Record (10%), 26-89 Map Count (23%), 35 CDL points (12th Seed)
Roster: Arcitys - Exnid - Pred - Priestahh
Previous Ranking: 11th (Up 1 Tier)

Next Match: Failed to Qualify for Champs

Major IV Results: Top 8
Vegas fell apart yet again in Stage IV, showing that they can compete but are unable to do so consistently. They were 0-11 during the Stage in Hardpoint, with an average margin of -81.4, reminiscent of the Stage 1 team. Their redeeming qualities were found in SND (5-5) and Control (4-3), which powered them to a win against the Vancouver Surge at the Major. Major IV will surely be the last time fans see that iteration of the Falcons, with the team missing Champs they'll have to wait until July to compete in the Esports World Cup.

11th: Carolina Royal Ravens

Voting: 2.0 Avg Points, F Tier
20-20 Record (50%), 75-78 Map Count (49%), 220 CDL points (6th Seed)
Roster: Gwinn - SlasheR - TJHaly - Wrecks
Previous Ranking: 10th (Down 1 Tier)

Next Match: June 26th vs Toronto Ultra

Major IV Results: Top 12
While putting Carolina in 11th seems harsh, the Royal Ravens have been a shell of their former selves since the signing of Dillon "Wrecks" Slotter. Over the 8 matches with their current roster, the team is 1-7 in series, 2-10 in Hardpoint, with an 8-21 overall map count. While the team will enter Champs with the 6th seed, they are certainly not playing like a 6th seed in the League.

12th: Los Angeles Guerrillas M8

Voting: 1.0 Avg Points, F Tier
6-26 Record (19%), 42-82 Map Count (34%), 55 CDL points (11th Seed)
Roster: KiSMET - FeLo - oJohnny - Lunarz
Previous Ranking: 12th (Unchanged)

Next Match: Failed to Qualify for Champs

Major IV Results: Top 8
LA managed to improve over the last stage of the season, but in the end finished with a 2-5 series record with an 11-17 map count. While they became a competitive team in Hardpoint (6-5 record), they were abysmal in Control (1-6) and had map pool issues in SND. The franchise looks to be heading into a full rebuild before the Esports World Cup, as a 6-26 record was not good enough to make Champs this year.
